South Park California Love

For the last week, I have had that silly South Park California Love song stuck in my head. There are videos for it all over youtube, but I wanted an MP3 of the song, so I started scouring around the web and finally found one.

If the South Park guys ask me to remove this from my blog (that no one reads) I'll happily do it, but in the meantime....a little California Love for anyone else who has the song stuck in their head too.

South Park California Love

Cali-forn-nyah-nyah!

P.S. The official site has it here, in WAV format, it sounds SO Much better than the MP3 on my site. It's just a bigger file. Enjoy!

Nice little Monday

Today I got home from work around 730, just in time to eat a shrimp stir fry dinner Heather made. She had all the ingredients separated for some reason, so when she asked me how many shrimp I wanted, I said "All of them". She gave me 9. :-)

Compromise is the secret to a good marriage.

Anyway, we watched Scrubs on the DVR and then 24. After the Jack Bauer Hour, I decided to honor my pledge.

After that was done, I had plenty of time to spend a couple of hours playing a certain Xbox 360 game online until about midnight. I have a meeting at 8am, so I decided to call it quits, but not before updating the blog!

Ciao.

The results show

This weekend was rather relaxing. I spent yesterday hanging around the house, watching TV and enjoying my time off. I left the house only to join Andrew in Seattle for some Northlake Tavern pizza. It was expensive (about 17 bucks each) but very good.

So, how did I do with my weekend goals?

First, this afternoon Heather and I went outside and did yardwork for a couple of hours. We filled up two 90 gallon bins with leaves, lawn and assorted yard trimmings. Didn't mow the backyard yet, and I still have about 5 bins full of leaves to rake up off the side yard, but I think we made some good progress.

I also worked in the Star Wars room tonight. That's documented here. All and all, I'd say this weekend was both productive and relaxing.

Waiting 59 seconds for more sources....

This evening Heather and I watched the Pursuit of Happyness. That is one depressing movie, but I suppose it has an uplifting message at the end of the film. You just have to sit, watching this poor guy suffer for the whole thing to get to it. It's a whole lot of sour to get to the sweet. Afterwards, I sat down to check my email and go to bed, which turned into another night sitting here on the computer.

This week has been a rather long one, I've been working a lot of 10 and 12 hour days and I can't say it's really agreeing with me. This weekend, I should do any number of projects, but I doubt I'll do any of them. They are, in no particular order:

1. Yard work
2. Work on the Star Wars room
3. Purge storage that's in the garage and closet
4. Get clothes I'm not wearing boxed up for donation.

I have 25 cents that says I don't do much of anything on that list, I'll probably be resting and relaxing all weekend. Speaking of that...it's 2am. Time to get started on that.
