The sweep

And the Mariner's won all three games. Although I had great seats, saw Barry Bonds hit a homer and got to eat Dixie's, the weekend was fairly a bummer.

At least the weather was really nice.

Giants are coming to town!

Tomorrow (and for the next three days) I'll be attending San Francisco Giants games right here in Seattle. I haven't seen them play for years (since they last time they came to town to beat the Mariners), but it'll be great to cheer the orange and black onto victory once again.

On the other hand, in a few years, I will have lived in Seattle for longer than I lived in the Bay Area. At what point do I stop being from there?

Late Friday

Decided to stay up playing Xbox 360 tonight. Started the night off with RockStar Table Tennis. Everyone at work is addicted to this game. I can't decide if they wanted it because it was only 39.99 or because it's actually fun, but they really seem to like it. I brought it home and started playing exhibition matches tonight. Table Tennis (ping pong) isn't exactly something I'm a huge fan of, but it is kind of a fun game once you get going. Hard as hell and frustrating to play, but I am beginning to get the hang of it. I need one more victory to win my first little 360 Ping Pong tournament tomorrow.

After I lost too many games in a row, I decided to play Uno with John. Another friend joined in later and we played until just now. I won a lot of games, which was much better than the other night. I already have all of my achievements in that game. Getting Gamerscore for Uno isn't hard. The toughest things were the 40 wins total and the 10 online wins, but I polished those off this week.

Tonight, I'm leaving rockstar table tennis on overnight to see if I can rack up one of those time-played achievements. We'll see if it works.
