It's almost 3am and I'm sitting here awake. It started with a Radio Show around 11. I finished that a little after midnight and started reading forum posts on the 501st, then it just sort of ended up being this late.
I am going to be hating life at work tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I do not have a web cam where I perform pornographic tricks with a hamster. I do not have the latest scripts for the Star Wars TV show or any other movie folks are eager to read about. What I do have is a rather frequent update of the mundane goings on in the life of Josh. Sometimes...I even post pictures! Maybe. Enjoy.

Gears of PHreakin War part deux
John and I just beat Gears of War on Hardcore. I was playing as Dom, so I got all the Dom achievements as well.
Next stop: Insane difficulty.
Actually, I should rephrase. Next stop is sleep, followed by work, followed by the gym, THEN...maybe Insane difficulty. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Tonight's secret word is:
Gears of War.
Ok, wait...that's three words. Ah, who cares? It's an awesome game.
That is all.

Snowy Sunrise
Woke up this morning to find 2 or 3 inches of fresh snow outside. There was no way I could make it up the hills out of the neighborhood today, so instead....I'm telecommuting.
Snow days are wonderful.

The snow finally arrived
The weather men have been talking about how today was going to be this huge snow storm. They said that it would start falling between 5-9am this morning and make the commute a real bitch.
I woke up around 8:30, hoping to look out the window and see snow, but there was nothing. It wasn't even raining. I took a shower, headed to work and got there by 9:30. Again...still no rain.
Settled into the day, got some work done, did the usual stuff. Went to lunch around 1pm....it STILL wasn't raining. At 3:30, I see some hail start to come down. By 3:40, it's sticking. I say to myself: "I should probably leave work before everyone starts panicking and backs up the roads". I did a few more emails and headed out.
Unfortunately, by the time I got to my car, 100 other people from our building and the buildings around it had all decided to do the same thing. It took me 70 minutes to get from my parking space to the main road in Kirkland that leads to the freeway (6 blocks from my job).
After that, it took 3 more hours on I-405 before I finally got home. At 4 hours and change, that was the longest commute of my life. The up-side to all of this is I am pretty sure we will have a snow day tomorrow and I'll get to work from home.
Crossing fingers.
